We, Zemerick Software, Inc., are a privately owned company located in beautiful southern West Virginia. Our
company was founded in 1999. We are a Better Business Bureau accredited business. We specialize in instant message monitoring and control
software for home users,
businesses, and law enforcement agencies.
The sloth is our mascot, regardless of the number of toes. Our continuing goal
is to provide high-quality software to home users and law enforcement agencies..
Some History
In 2001, we released the first version of the Chat Watch software that lets parents
monitor and record their children's instant messaging. Since then, Chat Watch has
become the de facto instant message logging software. Starting in 2006, we received
a significant amount of interest in Chat Watch from members of law enforcement.
They were interested in Chat Watch as a way to record instant messages for their
investigations. While Chat Watch would do the job, it was tailored for parents,
not police officers. So we went to work and created Chat Watch SPEAR Edition - the
first ever instant message logging software for law enforcement.

Yes, it is all completely free! No gotchas. You just have to prove to us that
you are a member of law enforcement. Our software is free because we do not
believe that members of law enforcement should have to pay for software that
enables them to better perform their duties. The internet is a wonderful
resource, but it can also be a very dark alley.

While our software is 100% free, we do offer a nominally-priced one year Premium Subscription that entitles you to
receiving priority updates on CD-ROM and other benefits. If you like our software
